Forerunner of what is now known as the Hospital Corpsman rating. Green machine embroidered eagle, with a wool red cross and wool chevron machine sewn on a green wool background. Used in 1917 – 1918 and shortly thereafter.

Size 4 1/4 x 4 3/4 inches.
